Act Promptly to Protect Your Rights

You have a short window of time to take action to stop the eviction after the unlawful detainer is served on you.

If you have received an Unlawful Detainer Summons you must act quickly to protect your rights.

In most circumstances tenants only have 10 days from the date that they are served with the unlawful detainer summons to file a response with the court to prevent default judgment for eviction and a Sheriff’s Lockout.
