Our Mission
The Mission Statement for Tenant Eviction Defense is To provide education and legal resources to tenants who are facing eviction and seeking to remain in their homes.
Every year, thousands of Californians lose their homes because they lack access to procedural information or understand their rights and options. Tenant Eviction Defense bridges this gap. We provide high-quality, actionable legal information and we direct tenants to the necessary judicial council forms and legal pleadings for tenants to respond to eviction (unlawful detainer) lawsuits. We believe that an informed tenant is an empowered tenant.
